Deploy and orchestrate AI apps using Edge nodes in water plants

One of the main challenges of industrial digitalization is to be able to combine applications and algorithms (with short life cycles) with industrial systems with much longer cycles.  Discover how with Barbara´s Edge Platform Acciona managed to deploy, managed and maintained its algorithms at the Edge and:

  1. Reduce the deployment time of its Edge applications by 86%.
  2. Optimize its chemical control processes in real-time and in a cybersecure way.
  3. Save 250.000 Euros per plant in its first year.

This project has also received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant No. 827313, as well as from the CDTI (Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial de España), the Hazitek program of the Government of the Basque Country and the Ports 4.0 Fund of Puertos del Estado. Barbara has participated in the ICEX-Next export initiation program and has received support from ICEX and co-financing from European ERDF funds. The purpose of this support is to contribute to the international development of the company and its environment.
