Junior QA Engineer

Among your responsibilities and main tasks are:

• Manage the QA process for all our products
• Develop test plans, create test cases and execute test cycles to ensure the quality of our Cloud and Edge platforms
• Collaborate with the development and product team to define and enforce quality standards, and provide feedback on design and implementation decisions
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Identify and document defects, report them appropriately to the product team, and work proactively with the development team to ensure they are resolved in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain our continuous integration lab and infrastructure
• Develop and apply control metrics to measure the effectiveness of the quality process and use the data to continuously improve this process.

Experience and expertise required:

• At least 1 year experience in QA of software systems
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Cucumber or Tavern
• Experience using REST APIs
• Familiar with the concept of continuous integration
• Use of defect reporting tools, e.g. Jira

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of a programming language, e.g. Python, Javascript or Golang
• Knowledge of databases and MQTT brokers
• Prototyping of systems with boards such as Raspberry or Arduino
• Basic knowledge of sensors
• Knowledge of computer cybersecurity
• Good level of English
